Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Town Council office is closed and officers are working remotely. This also means our phonelines are not currently monitored. All mail can be dropped into the metal postbox on our gate, whilst all enquiries should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org – thank you and stay safe.
It is with great regret that the Town Council has taken the decisions to cancel both the main Food Festival in October and the Christmas Food and Drink Festival held at Beverley Minster in November.
We hope the festival will return in 2021, but until then we hope all our regular stall holders and visitors stay safe and well during this difficult time.
About Beverley Food Festival
Over the past 15 years, Beverley Food Festival has become a popular and award-winning event and a staple of the Beverley calendar. Taking place in the heart of our thriving market town, it is an opportunity to celebrate all the exciting and delicious products created by local and regional food and drink producers.
It is also a time to reflect on Beverley’s historic position as a central point for folk from the wider rural community to meet together and sell their produce under the Market Cross. The Food Festival echoes that history and helps to keep the local food scene financially viable, whilst also bringing a boost to the town’s economy.
We hope that once the nation has overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, the festival will return and residents and visitors will once again enjoy the tastes, sights and aromas the Beverley and East Yorkshire has to offer.
