Whilst East Riding of Yorkshire Council oversees many larger, infrastructure issues such as housing, highways, social services, council tax, etc., the Town Council helps to bring a uniqueness to Beverley and works at a grassroots level within the community.

The sort of services the Town Council provides include allotments, a skate park, funding litter and grit bins, financial support for street lighting and CCTV.

The Council also works runs a grants scheme for local community groups, events and organisations – this scheme is currently being reviewed and updated.

You can find out more about these individual services via the Services and Grants drop down menu towards the top of the page.
